Summary:
My name is Matt Greenwell and I’m a second year Zoology student at Reading. This basically means that we get to study the fun parts of biology, looking at animals and their habitats.

As well as learning about the evolution, behaviour and internal biology of individuals and groups of animals, a significant part of our degree is to do with the conservation of animals. Unsurprisingly this is a subject that many zoologists feel very strongly about and for that reason a group of us decided to attend a number of conservation workshops, hosted by Catherine Mercer, a Developing Green Talent Trainee at BBOWT.
