The Government today (2nd February) published its White Paper on the UK's exit from the European Union. Despite the natural environment underpinning our economic welfare, providing the raw materials and food to sustain us and our social wellbeing, and giving the backdrop to our lives, it only gets a passing mention in a White Paper that sets out the vision for our future as an independent country within Europe.
